Chef Mary Russo’s life-long love for food began in the kitchen of her family home. Siblings, high school friends; she cooked for them all, carefully crafting her own recipes as she chopped, steamed, and stewed. Growing up in California and marrying into a Monterey Bay fishing family ingrained her with an expectation for fresh ingredients and worldly taste.
Creative twists on classic recipes and access to an abundance of fresh produce from California’s central coast define chef mary’s cooking style today. She’s owned and run her own cafe, graduated from The International Culinary Center, and currently holds the position of Executive Chef at a highly regarded treatment center for eating disorders on the Monterey Peninsula.
